Ben has been a vegan for a number of years. His journey started in 2009 when he started cutting out red meat. He was still a heavy milk drinker, cheese/poultry and fish eater at that time. When he discovered Dr. Michael Greger in this video in 2012 the thought about moving into a strict vegan diet was planted into his DNA. His girlfriend back then (now wife) and him decided to give it a shot and cut out milk and any kind of meat. They still consumed cheese which was certainly the last frontier for them. They finally cut it out in 2014 and never looked back.
